€1.55 milliún maoiniú iomlán don Áras Mhic Dara
Tá fáilte curtha ag Seán Kyne, TD do Fhine Gael Gaillimh Thiar agus Maigh Eo Theas, roimh an nuacht go bhfuil € 850,000 breise i maoiniú do Aonad Altranais Pobail, Áras Mhic Dara, An Cheathrú Rua.
Tá an maoiniú seo mar chuid de fhoriomlán €1.55 milliún i infheistíocht caipitil d’athchóiriú agus uasghrádú na háise chun caighdeáin HIQA a chomhlíonadh.
Dúirt an Teachta Kyne: “Tugann an infheistíocht seo cinnteacht do todhchaí Áras Mhic Dara, aonaid 47 leaba a sholáthraíonn seirbhís thábhachtach do phobail ar fud Chonamara Theas.
“Tá an athchóiriú agus uasghrádú le bheith críochnaithe sa chéad cheathrú den bhliain seo agus ag feidhmiú go hiomlán sa dara ceathrú den bhliain.
“Tá an infheistíocht seo mar tiomantas soiléir ó FSS maidir le todhchaí Áras Mhic Dara do Chonamara Theas.”
Further €850,000 investment secures future of An Cheathru Rua Community Nursing Unit
€1.55 million total funding for Aras Mhic Dara
Fine Gael TD for Galway West and Mayo South, Sean Kyne has welcomed the provision of a further €850,000 in funding for Aras Mhic Dara Community Nursing Unit in An Cheathru Rua.
The funding is part of an overall €1.55 million in capital investment for the refurbishment and upgrade of the facility which will meet HIQA standards.
Commented Deputy Kyne: “This investment in Aras Mhic Dara secured the future of the 47 bed unit which provides an important service for communities across South Connemara.
“The refurbishment and upgrade is due to be complete in the first quarter of this year and fully operational by the second quarter of the year.
“The investment is a clear commitment by the HSE to the future of Aras Mhic Dara for South Connemara.”
