Engineers have been appointed by Galway County Council for the N59 Moycullen Bypass Project.
The appointment of RPS Consulting Engineers by Galway County Council is a significant step forward for the N59 Moycullen Bypass Project. RPS Consulting Engineers will now finalise design of the bypass, the lands for which have been acquired and are fenced off in advance of construction which is expected to begin next year. The engineers will also prepare the contract documents for the construction phase.
The Moycullen Bypass, which is included in the National Development Plan of Project Ireland 2040, will improve accessibility on the N59 Galway – Clifden while also helping to reduce traffic congestion around Moycullen to the benefit of all road-users.
