Today in the Seanad I again highlighted the unacceptable delays in progressing the plans for a new Emergency Dept, Maternity Unit, Paediatrics Unit, Cancer Care Centre and Laboratories at University Hospital Galway. I asked for strict timelines for the urgent delivery of these much-needed facilities and highlighted the impact delays are having on the people of Galway and the Region.
