I was delighted to prepare and lodge an application last year to Galway County Council under the Community Involvement Scheme for works at the head of the Loughwell road junction with the main Moycullen – An Spidéal road. The Department of Transport have approved funding for these works through Galway County Council. I would like to thank the landowners James Walsh and Geraldine Kyne for dedicating the land to facilitate these works which will improve safety at this location for all users. Works commenced over the weekend.
