As we await a Coimisiún Pleanála decision on the Galway City Ring Road, it is vital that this very important piece of infrastructure is included in the National Development Plan (NDP). The release of the list of Transport projects in the NDP is imminent and the future development of the City and Connemara, together with the quality-of-life benefits of shorter commutes and better public transport, all depend on a positive result from the Coimisiún and inclusion in the NDP.
